Oxley MP, Andrew
Stoner, has described as overwhelming the response to the NSW Government's
Community Building Partnership Program.
"Applications for
funding have been received from right across the Oxley Electorate, from
Killabakh to Dorrigo and almost everywhere between," Mr Stoner
said.

Member for
Oxley, Andrew Stoner, has welcomed news the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing
has refused an application for a Beer Wine and Spirits (BWS) outlet in Riverside
Drive, Nambucca Heads.
Mr Stoner said the majority of people were concerned
about the social impacts of another packaged liquor outlet in the local
community and the location of the proposed BWS near a public park and housing
facility.

Police Station and the State Emergency Services Headquarters in
Gladstone.

Stoner welcomes review of Aboriginal Connections by Audit Office |

Member for Oxley Andrew Stoner MP has welcomed the
decision of the Audit Office of New South Wales to review the financial collapse
of Aboriginal Connections and NSW Housing's tender selection
process.
Mr Stoner's request that the Audit Office undertake an
investigation followed the Kempsey-based construction company Aboriginal
Connections Pty Ltd going into voluntary liquidation on 10 June 2010. At that
time, Aboriginal Connections owed $2.49 million to a number of businesses in
NSW, Queensland and Western Australia.
